He was very courteous and informative when introducing us to our rental vehicle. He went over all of the vehicle's specs and features and answered all of our rental questions. When we returned our vehicle, Dylan C. ensured that the rate we were quoted for pre-paid gas would be honored. Overall, this has been the best experience I've had at a rental car servicer. I would highly recommend this location and the gentlemen that helped us.

Received 8 passenger 3 bag suv that was not clean with food scraps and whatnot(kids have severe food allergies) requiring me to clean because as the manager at the location said if you don’t like the vehicle you can cancel your reservation because the only other vehicle that matches what I reserved someone called dibs on and will be back to get it. That aside, start vehicle to leave and the first thing that pops up on dash is “blind spot alert fault” then “cross traffic alert fault”. Well can’t go inside cause they locked the doors to leave so I call directly to enterprise to tell them the issues. They rep was nice apologizing and stated once it’s safe to do so walk around the vehicle and if there are any issues call us and we will check if your class of vehicle is available at another location or airport(ORD or MDW). Get home within 20mins of picking up the rental and take photos and walk around the whole vehicle and sure enough damage both interior and exterior. Call back in on same day rep goes over notes and adds to the rental agreement that location did not deliver car clean and that vehicle had hail damage to hood, torn zipper on front passenger seat, damage to lower rear passenger side bumper and that the blind spot detection and cross traffic detection system were faulted. She stated she would call back as she would try to check if any vehicle in my class was available within a 3 hour drive. She called back and unfortunately there were none available until Tuesday at earliest. I let her know that wouldn’t work as we were leaving the next day(Sunday) for vacation. She apologized and stated she would inform the area manager of the issues and I should receive a call. Monday received call from Mindy who apologized that the vehicle was delivered dirty, damaged and that the safety features were not working. She stated and guaranteed that Kiefer the manager would be in on Saturday when I return the vehicle and will get everything corrected. Saturday comes and no Kiefer. The assistant manager tried her best and stated the best she can do as is authorized to give is a $100 customer satisfaction refund and that Kiefer would definitely take more off because of what’s noted. She also tried to get the “on call” area manager but he did not answer her phone call or text. Well, get no call on the following Monday so I call on Tuesday at 12. Ask to speak to Kiefer and get told he is in meetings and will call back. Get a missed call from him at 506pm call back at 508pm and I’m put on hold up to 530pm when that location closes. Call into the Enterprise E Club and rep answered immediately. Tell her what happened and her response was spot on “sounds like they are giving you the run around sir” she sends an email out to both the district manager and area manger which I’m still waiting on a call from. Get a call today from Kiefer again that really takes the cake. As he stated “the damage was recent as no damage was noted on your agreement and it appears someone used tape to try to attach the bumper which is why the sensors were faulted according to the professionals at the dealership so your liable for that damage” after I again explained the issues and refreshed his memory from the previous Saturday he stated he would call his on call area manager. After being put on hold he returned with someone of the district level or higher would be in contact with me by Monday to go over the damage cost and any corrections to my rental”. Again run around but now I’m being accused of causing the damage that i reported to them that they didn’t catch because they didn’t do their job. Like the previous review where a car wasn’t clean and had tobacco smoke in it. It’s clear they don’t do their job. Steer clear of this location.

Since I still had roughly 3000 miles of my road trip to go, I called the Shorewood Enterprise to see if they could switch me into another comparable vehicle. Deepak was extremely professional but also very personable. He empathetically listened to my situation, gathered the relevant information about what I was looking for, and set out to find a vehicle for me (I guess the larger vehicles are somewhat rare and not always readily available). Within 3 hours, he called me and said he had a vehicle for me. I was deeply impressed with the level of service I received at this location and how quickly they solved my problem. Thank you!

Upon picking up the rentalcar on 3/27 | was told Enterprise changed their policy and are no longer accepting after hours drop offs, and if I don't have the car back by 12pm 4/5 we will get charged for two extra days (because they are closed). We set up the rental way back in February would have been nice to know would have picked a different location. Anyway, we didn't have a choice but to take the vehicle since we were leaving that day to Florida. We just decided to rearrange our return time, which apparently Mother Nature had other plans because Kentucky and Tennessee were having tornadoes and flooding. Rather than put our lives in danger we decided to stay the night in Alabama away from the storm which pushed our return time on 4/5. When I informed the location we would be returning the car after 12pm he basically told me too bad so sad we are still getting charged for two extra nights. After SEVERAL calls to customer service explaining the situation, have been told would be escalated to Regional Mgr and here we are two weeks two weeks later still waiting for $176 refund.
